The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Small free parking area facing a scenic lake with park and children's playground. Well-located in town center, walkable access. Limited services: public toilets, water (winter closure), cassette emptying only. No greywater disposal. Variable atmosphere: quiet on weekdays, disturbed on weekends by young drivers (burnouts, loud music). Suitable for short stops and daytime activities, less ideal for peaceful overnight stays.
Highlights
- Lovely environment with a pond, park, and walking or cycling trails
- Free access, close to town center, shops and services nearby
- Quiet on weekdays, public toilets regularly cleaned
Good to know
- Frequent weekend nighttime noise: drag racing, music, groups of young people
- No grey water disposal, water off in winter, very small
- Quickly overcrowded, spilling over into the train station parking lot (chaotic)
Motorhome access : Easy access, flat terrain. Small area fills up quickly; overflow possible on the large parking lot across the street (risk of disturbances).
