Large dirt parking in the heart of the Forez uplands, ideal for hikers. Quiet out of season, busier in summer and weekends. Access to the Coq Noir dairy farm for local meals (closed Nov-April). Fairly level parking but slightly uneven ground, direct access to hiking trails. Cool nights at altitude.
