The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Remote spot at the end of a rough gravel track beside the Seine, near Tancarville bridge. Spectacular views of the river, passing boats, and illuminated bridge at night. Difficult access (2 km of heavily potholed track), bumpy ground. No services. Warning: problematic location with continuous suspicious vehicle traffic, crowds of lone men, and wild dumping. Safety concerns despite beautiful scenery.
