Charming island campsite in Charente-Maritime, accessible only at low tide. Converted former camping with 50 spacious, grassy pitches in a peaceful, isolated setting. Great for walking and foraging. However, high price (€22/night + €5 pass) is not justified by aging, poorly maintained facilities (cold water, odours, inconsistent upkeep). Significant renovation needed.
