Massive, uncrowded natural campsite in the heart of the Alps (Ailefroide valley), perfect for climbers and hikers. Direct access to 1500 routes and glaciers. Scattered sanitary facilities, hot showers, water/waste disposal at reception. Excellent value (8–9€/person). Very busy in August with toilet queues. Cleanliness varies by area. Vehicle height restricted to 3.25 m (tunnel).
