Small rest area at the roadside near Chambran's wooden cross. Limited capacity (3 vans max). Very peaceful at night despite road proximity. Extraordinary views of Mont Pelvoux. Sloped terrain. Stream nearby, drinking fountain 1 km uphill. The only legally tolerated parking spot before Chambran for overnight stays.
