The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Small dirt parking in woodland with two picnic tables, on a quiet road. Fine southward views of Rhune and Pyrenees with excellent sunrise and sunset. Spacious and calm at night, but narrow access road. Caution: pastoral zone with herding dogs, mud risk in wet weather, and recurring hunting/clay-shooting activities nearby.
Highlights
- Stunning panoramic views of the mountains and Pyrenees
- Absolute quiet at night and plenty of space
- Shaded picnic tables in good condition
- Remarkable sunrises and sunsets
Good to know
- Noisy hunting and shooting range activities for half the year
- Narrow access and steep uphill road
- Muddy ground when it rains
- Possible restrictions due to pastoralism and livestock herds
Motorhome access : Very narrow and uphill road with tricky maneuvering. Dirt terrain, risk of mud after rain. Possible for small vehicles but check first.
