The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Gravel track beside a river next to an Engie hydroelectric station. Natural, flat terrain, very quiet and isolated—ideal for escaping crowds. No facilities, but fresh water available. Narrow entrance (tight for large vans). Main drawback: noise from the power station varies depending on your spot. Possible to drive further up the track for quieter locations. In dry season, the stream may dry up.
