Large parking at Col de Turini (1607m) in the Mercantour mountains, near restaurants and souvenir shop. Quiet location with no facilities. Excellent access for hiking departures. Peaceful atmosphere outside peak season. Note: restaurant staff unfriendly to campervan users, though parking is public with no restrictions. Very winding road (Tour de France classic).
