The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Paved parking on the village square, near a well-regarded gîte and restaurant. Water and public toilets available. Easy main access but winding approach road (20 hairpin bends). Alternative quieter option: unpaved track to pont des Rouelle for natural setting. Excellent base for hiking in Lauzière massif.
Highlights
- Very warm welcome from the manager and a quality restaurant
- Lots of nearby hiking trailheads
- Spacious parking off-season with water and toilets
- Can find a quieter, more natural spot by taking the unpaved track
Good to know
- Very winding access road with many tight hairpin turns.
- Peak season crowds may limit available spots
Motorhome access : Main parking area is flat and tarmac with easy maneuvering. Access via a very winding road (20 switchbacks) requires caution. Unpaved alternative track to Pont des Rouelle is more demanding.
