The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Small shaded picnic area beside the road, on grass, next to a sunflower field. Public toilets 100 m away in the village. Picnic tables and waste bins available. Grass access challenging in wet weather. Very peaceful setting with a remarkable rock-cut church nearby. Suitable for breaks or short stops.
Highlights
- Very peaceful and shaded setting
- Remarkable rock-hewn church to visit
- Attractive sunflower field
- Practical picnic tables
Good to know
- Grassy site turns muddy in wet weather.
- Tight access for large motorhomes.
- Road traffic noticeable depending on your spot
Motorhome access : Grassy access suitable for small vehicles and converted vans. Difficult when wet, risk of getting stuck. Very limited for large campervans due to narrow road and soft ground. Maneuvering tricky.
