Free picnic area on the Indre riverside, 5 minutes walk from Azay-le-Rideau castle and town centre. Flat, shaded parking for 5-6 camper vans with picnic tables and river access. 24-hour limit. No services or facilities. Quiet at night despite daytime traffic. Temporarily closed since July 2025 due to fallen tree branch.
