The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Grassy parking at the foot of the Sail-sous-Couzan castle, offering an unobstructed view over the Forez plain. Access is steep from the village, requiring a suitable vehicle. The terrain is sloping with limited flat spaces. Quiet and natural ambiance, perfect for an overnight stay in a van or motorhome. No services declared, though occasional toilet paper and litter are noted in the surroundings.
