The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Small informal riverside parking area on the ViaRhôna cycling route, with 3-4 spaces. Direct Rhône views and picnic tables. Significant access constraint: narrow tunnel with 2.70 m height limit (prohibitive for many motorhomes). Road noise and freight train sounds present. Atmosphere varies greatly—peaceful off-season, busy evenings/weekends when the nearby guinguette operates. Best suited for overnight stops in smaller vans; height-restricted for larger vehicles.
