The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Wild highland spot in state forest, very isolated and tranquil, accessible via gravel track but passable. Panoramic 360° views from hilltop. Multiple level pitches above water tank. Minimal morning traffic except occasional mountain bikers. Excellent for peace and nature. Note legal concerns (state forest), wind exposure, and hunting seasons.
Highlights
- Exceptionally peaceful and isolated
- 360° panoramic view
- Accessible for standard-sized motorhomes.
- Multiple flat spots to choose from on the ridge
Good to know
- Legality questionable (state forest)
- Very stony and rough lane.
- Frequent winds at high altitudes
- Some struggle to find a level pitch
Motorhome access : Stony gravel track, cluttered but passable for standard motorhomes. Prefer the right road to the cistern (flatter). Vehicles up to 3.10 m height allowed. Tricky maneuvers if arriving at night.
