The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Spectacular cliff-top spot at road's end with stunning ocean views and dolphin sightings. Narrow, rough access road requiring 4×4 in wet conditions. No facilities. Peaceful weekday atmosphere but shooters active on Sundays; rockfall hazard and loud surf overnight.
Highlights
- Stunning ocean views and dolphins
- Solitude and tranquility on weekdays
- Unique and memorable spot
Good to know
- Very difficult access; rutted and unsuitable for 2x2 or low vehicles.
- Risk of rocks falling from the cliff
- Shooters on Sunday mornings, noisy surfing at night
Motorhome access : Very difficult access: narrow, winding, and deeply eroded road. Not recommended without 4x4, especially in wet conditions. Tight approach loop turn. Avoid low or long vehicles. Maneuvering is tricky in the rain (exit may be compromised)
