Large free parking near the cemetery, 5-10 minutes walk from Ornans town centre via stairs or path. Flat, asphalted terrain, well-exposed. Consistently quiet nights reported. No onsite services; water available at the cemetery. Ideal base for exploring the town and Courbet-themed trails and Loue valley hiking.
Highlights

- Easy access on foot to the city center and shops
- Flat and concreted terrain, suitable for motorhomes.
- Close to hiking trails and cultural attractions

- No services available in the parking area (no bins, no toilets)
- Little to no shade
- Sporadic morning traffic noise (D492)
- Minor conflicts with the boules club: better to use the lower parking area
