The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Small free parking lot at the start of the Abîme Gorges trail, close to waterfalls and excellent hiking. Very busy in peak season (~10 vehicle capacity). Motorhome access reportedly difficult according to management, though some visitors contradict this. Beautiful setting with stream sounds, but extremely congested July-August. Overflow parking available 9 min walk away. Access closures possible due to maintenance work.
Highlights
- Steps away from spectacular hikes and waterfalls
- Enchanting natural setting with the soothing sound of the mountain stream
- Quiet at night outside peak season
Good to know
- Tiny parking area often full in July-August
- Busy during the day with tourists
- Difficult maneuver for motorhomes over 6m
Motorhome access : Tricky. Parking very tight depending on management (risk of blocking). Some motorhomes report access possible (6.20 m confirmed), but street parking required in peak season. Recommend using the alternative parking down below.
