Parking by the Charente River Chaniers

Small natural parking beside the Charente river near Saintes, accommodating 3-4 small vehicles. Pleasant shaded setting but challenging access: narrow dead-end track, no turning around possible, reverse required at railway crossing. Significant noise issues: early morning trains (6h30+) and road traffic. Overhanging branches restrict vehicle height.

Motorhome access : Very difficult: narrow dead-end, no turning space, must reverse out at the level crossing. Only for small vehicles. Low branches restrict height.
