Free parking at Col du Lautaret (2000 m) with stunning alpine views. Exceptionally quiet nights and multiple parking spots on both sides of the road. Water, public toilets and waste facilities available. Café and restaurants nearby. Excellent base for hiking and cycling climbs. Easy access confirmed for camper vans up to 7 m.
