Large free car park at Verdun Ossuary, a major war memorial with military cemetery. Vast flat area ideal for maneuvering. Public toilets available during the day. Very quiet at night with gendarmerie patrols. Hiking trails available around the site and toward shell craters. Note: overnight parking officially prohibited (20:00-06:00), bells ring at 7am, toilets closed at night.
