Le parking est très propre, très bien délimité dans un cadre naturel en lisère de forêt et à proximité immédiate, du barrage du lac. De nombreuses balades possibles. C’est un endroit idéal pour une pause déjeuner, pour rester à la journée et randonner… En dehors du tour du lac qui est un grand classique, il y a un bel observatoire de la faune dans la forêt, à quelques centaines de mètres.
