The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Stunning mountain lake offering breathtaking views, free access, and multiple parking areas. Well-equipped with dry toilets and bins. Excellent hiking trails including a 4km lake loop. No mobile signal. Narrow mountain road with seasonal restrictions. Very popular with daytime hikers, creating congestion. Parking competitive in summer but peaceful at night. Better visited early morning or late evening.
