The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Small natural spot on the banks of the Gironde estuary near the ferry port at Verdon-sur-Mer. Originally one pitch, but multiple spaces possible on grass and sandy/dirt track. Narrow access between bunkers. Spectacular sunrise views over the estuary. Nature-focused atmosphere with regular hikers and fishermen passing through. No services. Watch for littering issues and mosquitoes in warm seasons.
