Unnamed site ("la croix des chênes") 3 km from Saint-Michel-l'Observatoire. Large area with accessible tracks and scattered trees for shade. Stunning panoramic views over the valley and distant Alps. Multiple flat parking spots well-spaced apart. Very calm at night despite nearby low-traffic road. All-terrain access. Excellent for stargazing and hiking. Warning: occasional illegal dumping reported.
