Large free gravel parking at 1,960 m altitude on Madeleine Pass, Franco-Italian border. Slightly sloped stabilized surface. Rubbish bins available. Small shop and bar-restaurant nearby. Excellent starting point for hiking (Roburent and Lauzanier lakes). Generally peaceful nights despite heavy truck traffic. Exceptional mountain views. Note: busy road, snow possible from October, night closures in winter.
