Mountain bivouac area at 1510 m, free and equipped with potable water, dry toilets, BBQs and tables. Exceptional panoramic views over the valley and Meije. Very narrow and challenging access, difficult for large vehicles. Extremely peaceful off-season, crowded in summer. Not cleared in winter.

Good to know
- Very difficult road access: narrow and winding path unsuitable for large motorhomes
- Very busy in peak season; evening tranquility is lost
- Access not cleared of snow in winter
- Source may run dry in April
Motorhome access : Very difficult access: narrow, winding road ending in a rough track. Crossings are tricky or impossible for two vehicles. Possible up to 6-7m with caution, but large vehicles are discouraged. Reverse maneuvers are complicated.
