Large free parking nestled in forest near Kintzheim castle, very quiet at night. Multiple levels (P2 recommended for motorhomes: flattest and most spacious). Single-lane road access. Ideal base for visiting the Volerie des Aigles, castle and local hiking. No facilities. Weak mobile signal.
Highlights
- Extremely quiet at night, completely secluded
- Large well-defined space with numerous spaced-out spots.
- P2 is very flat and suitable for large vehicles
- Free, unguarded access, open all year round
Good to know
- No services: no trash bin, no water, no toilets
- Mobile network is practically nonexistent (Orange, SFR very weak)
- One-way access on a steep road with bus and car traffic during the day.
- A few isolated incidents of misconduct (burnt tires) threatening the site’s future
Motorhome access : One-way uphill access on a narrow road. P2 is very flat and spacious, suitable for large vehicles. P1 for small vans. Caution on the steep descent. No height barriers.
