Drinking water tap frequently broken or unavailable (seasonal issue). Local shops nearby (Proxi, bakery, bar, restaurant, butcher). Very quiet atmosphere except for church bells ringing frequently. 10 minutes from Lac de Vassivière, close to hiking trails. Flat ground, parking closed Monday evening to Tuesday afternoon (market day). 48-hour limit.
