The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Modern parking area 5 km from Caen, ideal for city visits with bus stop 300 m away. Large level spaces on tarmac, easy access though barrier entrance can be tricky. Full services (water, electricity, waste disposal). Main drawback: significant road noise from nearby ring road and daytime aircraft overhead until 22:00. Suitable for short stops or overnight stays despite noise issues.
Highlights
- Pitch close to Caen with easy bus access
- Wide and well-marked spots on flat ground
- Full services at a reasonable price (€14/night)
- New and clean area.
- Easy to maneuver for motorhomes
Good to know
- Constant noise from the ring road and planes during the day
- Slow water flow when filling
- Entry barrier sometimes unreliable (card reader malfunction)
- High accessory fee (5.50€ just for services)
- Unpleasant atmosphere with no charm
Motorhome access : Easy access with clearly marked large asphalt pitches and straightforward maneuvering. The entrance barrier works but requires care when passing through. Don’t miss the entrance.
