The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Historic campsite converted into a motorhome stopover with 21 spacious pitches separated by hedges, all with electricity. Full services: water/waste discharge point, showers and toilets (April-October). Near fishing pond and town center. Main drawback: proximity to busy national road causing significant noise day and night. Grass pitches risk waterlogging in wet weather. Reasonable rates (€8-12). Good for brief stops.
Highlights

Good to know
- Constant road noise, especially trucks at night
- Grassy terrain, frequently gets bogged down in damp conditions or off-season
- Basic facilities, closed October to March, cleaning inconsistent
Motorhome access : Access via automatic barrier (reported malfunctions). Partially stabilized spots, mostly grass. Long vehicles: rear may overhang the road depending on positioning. Slippery when wet.
