The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Isolated and very peaceful lay-by at the foot of a 13th-century church in Creuse. Free services (water, electricity, waste disposal). Major drawback: extremely sloped parking with only 1-2 level spaces, requiring levelling blocks. Clean toilets near the church. Picturesque village with renowned creperie. Nearby hiking. Winding road access.
