Camping-Car Park area at the foot of Taillebourg castle, along the Charente river. Large shaded grass pitches, well-defined with hedges. Very clean facilities and hot showers. Access straightforward but entrance at right angle uphill. Close to village with shops and bakery. Train and road noise during day, quiet at night. Network registration required (€5 lifetime).

au pied d'un lieu historique, très belle aire bien ombragée avec de grandes places pour les grands camping car bien délimitées avec électricité pour certaines. Pour ceux qui arrivent en dernier, il faudra se contenter des places étroites le long du mur néanmoins assez longue idéale pour van, fourgon et petit camping car. sanitaires impeccable. Belle balade à faire en partant de l'aire pour aller admirer fortifications, donjon et vue imprenable. Seul bémol et non des moindres le train qui passe au pied avec une amplitude horaire assez large 6h/23h heureusement les passages ne sont pas trop fréquent, la route qui passe au pied également est assez bruyante. cela entache la zenitude du lieu.
