The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Camping-Car Park area at the entrance of Locronan, a picturesque historic Breton village with shops and restaurants within 2-minute walk. Confirmed services: electricity, water, waste discharge, rubbish bins. Sloped and poorly maintained terrain, becoming muddy in rainy weather. Unmarked pitches requiring systematic levelling blocks. Touristy calm setting but facilities inadequate for the price charged.
Highlights
- Exceptional location at the entrance to the village
- Functional services with electricity, water, and waste disposal
- Peaceful atmosphere close to tourist attractions
Good to know
- Very steep and uneven terrain, wheel chocks are essential
- Poor maintenance: grassy, muddy pitches in wet weather
- Unmarked pitches cause confusion
- Poor value for money given the price
Motorhome access : Access possible but demanding: steep terrain with significant slope, chocks required. Upper half asphalt (better), lower half uneven and muddy when wet. Tricky maneuvers, narrow and steep access above, low clearance below. Not recommended for inexperienced campers in wet conditions.
