The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Family-friendly campsite nestled under pine trees, 5 minutes walk to beach with excellent cycle path access. Full amenities including restaurant, bar, supermarket, laundry. Shaded pitches but sloped terrain. Major price increases since Sandaya takeover (€110+/night peak season) causing widespread dissatisfaction. Uneven reception quality, renovated but inconsistently maintained facilities. Quiet in shoulder seasons, busy during peaks.
Highlights
- Ocean and beach within a 5-minute walk
- Highly popular natural setting under pine forests
- Direct cycle path right in front of the campsite.
- Various on-site services (bar, restaurant, small supermarket, bike rental)
Good to know
- Exorbitant rates that keep rising (€110+ per night in peak season)
- Spots are on a slope, uneven and barely suitable for large motorhomes (over 7m)
- Uneven sanitary upkeep, insufficient cleaning (claimed once daily)
- No pool for 4-star rating; long queues in peak season
Motorhome access : Accessible for small to medium campervans, but spots are sloped. Large campervans over 7 m struggle to maneuver. Narrow natural, wooded terrain. Reception closed noon-3 PM. Possible queue in peak season.
