The Camper’s take
Updated June 2026
Suburban campsite near Joinville, ideal for visiting Paris (45 min via bus 101 + RER A). Full services on-site: water, electricity, dump station, showers, laundry. Pleasant riverside setting. Major drawbacks: highway noise, very high prices (€50-110/night), inconsistent sanitation facilities, muddy pitches after rain.
Highlights
- Easy access from Paris (bus 101 at the entrance, RER A in 20 min)
- Spacious, well-maintained pitches
- Practical and quick service area
Good to know
- Constant 24/7 motorway noise
- Parisian prices are excessive (50-110€/night)
- Sanitary facilities are unevenly maintained, water is often cold
- Pitches regularly muddy and poorly drained
Motorhome access : Road access: watch out for 1.90 m height restrictions on some routes (enter via Avenue Foch and Quai d'Anjou). Spacious pitches but muddy in winter. Maneuvering is possible
