The Camper’s take

Updated June 2026

3-star campsite near Grasse behind an Auchan supermarket, open April-September (off-season by reservation for autonomous campers). Heated pool and shaded pitches appreciated. Friendly reception but access uphill with trees, maneuvering challenging for large motorhomes. Sanitary facilities dated but generally clean. Peak season rates high (€75/day). Direct tourist buses to Grasse and Cannes. Quiet despite commercial proximity.

Highlights

  • Heated pool of generous size (2.90 m deep) very popular
  • Spacious, shaded pitches, quiet despite being close to the city
  • Very friendly and helpful welcome from the manager
  • Right next to Auchan, shops, and bus stop 660 (to Grasse, Cannes)

Good to know

  • Very dated facilities sometimes poorly maintained (cleanliness varies)
  • Steep, tree-lined access; difficult maneuvering for large motorhomes
  • Prices are high in peak season (€40–75 per night depending on the period)
  • Some spots aren’t level, with hard ground for stakes

Motorhome access : Narrow and steep access with trees, tricky for motorhomes over 7m. Spacious spots but uneven terrain; wheel chocks needed.
